Yarning Circles

Join us for our monthly Yarning Circles online or in person at Ross House.

Our Yarning Circles began during the Covid lockdowns as a way of staying connected and have continued due to their popularity.

Representatives from Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations across the State gather for a lunchtime yarn, ideas and experiences.

We also host invited speakers from philanthropy and broader community, discussing a variety of topics that resonate with our community members.

Speakers have included notable figures like Professor Marcia Langton, Mr. Terry Garwood, Deputy Chief of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning and former Deputy Chair and Commissioner, Sue-Anne Hunter

Our Yarning Circles assists Woor-Dungin in identifying community need and enables our team to design training and events that support Self-Determination.
